Since his formative years Sifu Bryant Feld has been a seeker of knowledge,
truth, and understanding. At eight years of age his father began his martial arts training by enrolling him in an Aikido school.
Bryant continued training in the art of Aikido into adulthood and earned the rank of black belt. Later, after earning
a BA in philosophy from Rutgers University, Bryant wanted to expand his martial arts horizons. He was fortunate enough to
meet Ving Tsun Master Pete Pajil who opened his eyes to the subtle efficiency and innate beauty of Ving Tsun Kung Fu.
Sifu Bryant Feld earned the rank of Sifu in 1997 in the Moy Yat Ving Tsun
Kung Fu System under Master Pete Pajil and Grand Master Moy Yat. He completed the highest and most advanced levels of the
system in 1999 including the Luk Dim Boon Kwan( The 6 ½ Point Pole) and the rarely seen Bot Jahm Do(The 8 Slash Knives). Sifu
Bryant Feld has committed himself to both mastering and preserving this wonderful system of Ving Tsun Kung Fu and continues
to grow in Ving Tsun through the continued tutelage and inspiration of Master Pete Pajil and sharing in “Kung Fu Life”
with his fellow Moy Yat Ving Tsun Kung Fu practitioners and students.
Sifu Bryant Feld believes there is great value in martial arts training, specifically
the Ving Tsun system. Training in the Ving Tsun system promotes growth in every facet of human existence; mental, physical,
and spiritual. A statement from the book “Power Vs Force” written by Dr. David Hawkins supports this opinion.
It reads as follows…
"The most highly developed martial arts clearly demonstrate how motive and
principle are of ultimate importance in extraordinary athletic achievement. The most frequently heard admonition to trainees
is: "stop trying to use force". Schools devoted to these arts produce masters whose overriding concern is victory of the higher
self over the lower through control, training, and commitment to goals aligned with true power. Alignment with these high
power attractor patterns isn't limited to the exercise of the discipline itself but becomes an entire lifestyle. Thus, when
the power of the principle is transferred to the practitioner, the results begin to be manifested everywhere in his life."
